HOWTO Register a talk at freed.in 2007
We use Open Conference Systems (OCS) for managing freed.in. OCS is a powerful package, but sometimes its interface may daunt the casual user. So here is a quick HOWTO on submitting a paper for the conference.
Register as a Presenter
* Visit the freed.in 2007 site and click on Submission, or go directly to the submission login site
* Click on the Create an Account link. You can also go there directly using this URL.
* Register yourself. Please enter as much information about yourself as you can.
* Be sure to check the box at the bottom that says ``Create account as Author: Able to submit items to the conference.''. If you don't check this box you will not be able to submit papers to the conference. In case you already created an account, and forgot to give yourself this permission, you can do that by logging in, clicking the "My Profile" link at the top-right, and checking the box against Author in the Roles section at the bottom of the profile page.
Congratulations, you are now registered as a presenter for freed.in. Next step: submitting a paper...

* The author selects Save and Continue to complete their submission.
Step Three
