Announcement

This is a workshop conducted jointly by the Computer Society of India (CSI), Ghaziabad chapter, Acharya Narendra Dev College, the Indian Linux Users' Group, Delhi (ILUG-D), Freed.in, and Sarai, CSDS. It will be held at the Acharya Narendra Dev College Campus, Govind Puri, Kalkaji, New Delhi 110019 on Jan. 29th, 2009, from 11am to 6pm.

Workshop schedule

• 11.00am-Noon: Introduction to Free Software: GoraMohanty

• Noon-1pm: The local FOSS community: GoraMohanty

• 1pm-2pm: Lunch

• 2pm-4pm: Mobile Computing, OpenMoko? , and open-source hardware: SupreetSethi, others

• 4pm-6pm: Rapid web application development with Ruby on Rails: SawoodAlam
