My Personal Data

Gora Mohanty is an astrophysicist by training, and became familiar with Linux, and open-source tools during the course of his career. After seeing the light, he moved to working on Free/Open Source software, and now runs his own company specialising in such technologies. His current interests are in cutting-edge technologies like search engines and related technologies, scalable site architectures, mobile computing, GIS, Indian-language computing, and GIS. He is also actively involved in free software evangelism, and is a member of the Indian Linux Users' Group, Delhi, and Freed.in.
