Announcement

This is a workshop conducted jointly by KNMIET, the Indian Linux Users' Group, Delhi (ILUG-D), Freed.in, and Sarai, CSDS. It will be held at the campus of the Dr.Kedar Nath Modi Institute of Engineering & Technology, on Sat., Oct. 31st, 2009, from 11am to 5pm.

Workshop schedule

• 11.00am-Noon: Introduction to Free Software: Kishore Bhargava
• Noon-1pm: The Linux desktop: Kishore Bhargava, Gora Mohanty

• 1pm-2pm: Lunch

• 2pm-3pm: The Linux desktop (continued): Kishore Bhargava, Gora Mohanty
• 3pm-5pm: Rapid web development with Python, and Django: Gora Mohanty

• KNMIET, is located at Modinagar in western U.P., on Delhi–Meerut–Dehradun National Highway (NH-58) and is at a distance of 32 kms from the Delhi Border.
