Announcement

This is a workshop conducted jointly by the Computer Society of India, Ghaziabad chapter, Inderprastha Enginering College, the Indian Linux Users' Group, Delhi (ILUG-D), and Freed.in, and will be held at the ABC Engineering College (IPEC) campus, Sahibabad, on <Date/Time>. The aim of the workshop is to introduce students to the philosophy behind Free/Open Source Software (FOSS), and to show software engineers some of the possibilities afforded them by FOSS.

Workshop schedule

  • 11am - noon: Registration, and tea

  • Noon -1pm: Introduction to Free/Open Source Software (FOSS)

  • 1pm - 1.30pm: Getting involved in the FOSS community.

  • 1.30pm-2pm: Lunch

  • 2pm - 5pm: Rapid web development with Python and Django Gora Mohanty.
